February 19 is the date for the 1st paintball biathlon at Pineridge XC Ski Center in Petersburgh , NY Rensselaer County The event is sponsored by NY Biathlon and Pineridge XC Ski Center…Plans include to continue with regular year round Nordic events with the potential of both Paintball and regular biathlon The event’s flyer is NY Biathlon is establishing a new Biathlon venue…at Pineridge XC Ski Center located on Plank Rd in Petersburgh/Poestenkill, NY. Carl Klossner from Polar Bear Biathlon Club will coordinate with Russ Myer and other NY Biathletes to host the inaugural event on 1/23/11. So come on out and volunteer, support or participate…if you have never been NYSSRA Nordic members are reminded that applications for NYSSRA RACER SUPPORT GRANTS are due January 1, 2011. The program will award 24 $100 grants (12 to women and 12 to men) on an application basis for this ski race season.
