The junior biathlon clinic scheduled for tomorrow 5/25 has been cancelled due to the weather. We may try to reschedule this for the summer or fall. The junior shooting clinic set for 6/8/13 in Old Forge is still on, and everyone can now register for the summer biathlon race the next day on 6/9/13 at:

The Polar Bear Biathlon Club is preparing to host a modified pursuit biathlon race on June 9th at the McCauley Mountain Ski Center. Sport and Competition Classes are available for all racers. The race course will be almost entirely on the Nordic trails. Prizes will be awarded for the top three in each class. First

The NYSSRA Nordic Biathlon Junior Development Committee is pleased to announce that we will continue to provide clinic, training, and racing opportunities throughout the year to experienced Nordic skiers who are interested in getting involved with biathlon as their schedules permit. A windy day at Mt. Vanhoevenberg made for a challenging shooting day but 38 competitors ground it out. Results for the sprint event can be found here.
